I am from Redlands, CA.  I enjoy many outdoor activities: rock climbing, mountain biking, (I try to surf), running, etc.  I really enjoy playing the piano.  I chose medicine because it's a place where people are desperate for help and they are the most vulnerable.  After working with the homeless, I really wished I could do more to help them with regards to their health.  Right now, I am mostly interested in neurology.  I picked to go with CURA because I want to get a feel for medical trips, since I plan on incorporating that in my future goals.  I picked Southeast Asia because it's one place I have never been before.
