"One's destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things"
- Henry Miller
Being able
to reach out to a community in need is a meaningful and unforgettable
experience. Throughout our travels, we hope to go beyond the normal duties and
responsibilities of a traveling medical student. We hope to truly make a
significant impact with each patient we treat.
The Jesuit Principle, Cura Personalis, is a Latin phrase that translates to "care for the entire person." Our hope is to embody this Jesuit principle in not only searching for a definitive diagnosis within each patient. We hope to understand the context from which our patient came from.
