Traveling goes beyond simply visiting monuments and historical sites. It is an opportunity to immerse yourself in new cultures, languages, lifestyles, cuisine, and traditions. One of my passions is to travel, and I hope that on this trip I not only get to reach out to communities in a healthcare setting, but I also get the opportunity to reach out to people in need. I hope to learn from others, and gain knowledge beyond the realm of a textbook. Asia is a unique continent that has a rich, diverse population brimming with meaningful traditions that I have never experienced before. I hope to learn more about Asian countries, their belief systems, and their way of life. Other than traveling, some of my interests include soccer, yoga, photography, and hiking.
